BTR MAX PRESSURE LS DUAL SPRING KIT – .650″ LIFT – FOR ROLLER ROCKERS – SK002
BTR’s Max Pressure Spring Kit applies what we learned when designing the Platinum Spring Kit (SK001) and applies it to applications utilizing roller rockers. Due to the additional weight of roller rockers, a higher spring rate is needed to retain valvetrain stability. This is a drop-in kit for 15° LS heads utilizing roller rockers or track only applications with stock rockers. It will also work with LS7 heads when used with a .045” shim (Part numbers SS015 +SS030). This kit will not fit LS9 engines. The kit includes the following:
• SP002-1 – .650” lift BTR max pressure valve springs (Qty 16)
• SR002-1 – BTR titanium retainers for max pressure springs (Qty 16)
• SL505060-1 locator for stock valve guides OR SL565050-1 locator for bronze valve guides (Qty 16)
• VS LS valve seal (Qty 16)
• VL7°8MM-1 – BTR 7° LS valve lock (Qty 32)
Spring specs are as follows:
• 150 lbs @ 1.800″
• 420 lbs @ 1.200″
• 450 lbs @ 1.150
• Coil bind @ 1.100″
