Fragola Performance Systems Series 8000 Push-Lite race hose is manufactured to the same rigorous standards as their Series 3000 stainless steel race hose. It is the perfect alternative when cost or weight is an important consideration. Made with an inner layer of synthetic PKR covered with a fiber-braided reinforcement and wrapped with a weather-resistant textile cover, Push-Lite hose assemblies are typically less than half the weight of a similar stainless steel hose assembly. Its 250 psi maximum working pressure with a temperature range up to 300 degrees F is more than adequate for most automotive water, oil, and fuel systems. For higher heat or higher pressure applications, FPS recommends their light-weight stainless steel band clamps. If you are using fittings other than FPS Series 8000 Push-Lite hose ends, be sure to measure the hose barb diameter carefully to determine the correct size. Fragola Performance Systems Series 8000 Push-Lite race hose is sized fractionally, but the suitability of non-FPS hose ends is the sole responsibility of the end user.
