Our Truck cams were designed with low lift so GM LS2/LS3/LS6 valve springs and stock pushrods can be used, making these the most affordable truck cams available. The Stage 3 cam has a distinctive lope at idle. Compared to the stage 1 and 2 truck cams, the Stage 3 moves the powerband up even higher and does sacrifice some low-end power. It is highly recommended to use an aftermarket torque converter in 4.8/5.3 combinations to ensure good idle and drivability characteristics. As an alternative, check out our new V2 truck cam series.
